Yesterday, the Municipality of the County of Antigonish renamed what was formerly known as the Active Transportation Corridor as the Harbour Hills Path. A po st on the county’s social media states the path can also be called Awti’j which means path or trail in Mi’kmaw.
Warden Nicholas MacInnis said the municipality is in the last phase of the path.
Improvements set to come to the path include garbage bins, bike racks and a bike fix-it station, as well as lighting as the project moves forward.
