Creative Pictou County wants to hear from residents and local artists about their thoughts on the arts in the community.
As part of its Cultural Innovation Project, Creative Pictou County hosted a series of community consultations across Pictou County and are now conducting an online survey.

Carissa Ainslie, a member of the board of directors for Creative Pictou County, said they are looking to learn about the resources in the area, what people would like to see from Creative Pictou County in terms of programming, and how they would like to receive information. She said they are also in conversation with other local arts groups and partners.
When they are finished, Ainslie said they will have a lot of data they can use to help shape the organization going forward. She noted they are also working with a steering committee with several partners who can also use the information.
The survey is open until November 20. Those looking for more information can visit creativepictoucounty.com
