It was a busy windup for the year for the Antigonish Community Food Bank.

Board Chair Gordon Brenton says demand was high and donations from the community was also strong in the lead-up to the holidays.
Brenton says the Food Bank is blessed with strong community and business support. Brenton says they are also fortunate with a contigent of volunteers, numbering 25 to 30 people
Brenton says the Food Bank accepts donations Monday to Thursday. He says volunteers will be there mornings on those days, remaining operational on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 3 o’clock. It is closed on Friday.
