Oceans Canada initially imposed the closure on portions of the Southwest Margaree, Northeast Margaree and Gallant rivers on July 27th due to high water temperature.
DFO lifted the ban at 4 p.m. Thursday. It says there have been improvements in water temperatures and cooler weather conditions are forecasted.
