Diesel jumps by a Nickel a Litre as the Nova Scotia Energy Board Invokes Interrupter Clause

Drivers of diesel powered vehicles are paying more at the pump today.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked the Interrupter Clause overnight to raise the price of diesel by 5.4 cents a litre.

Diesel will now range from $1.88.3 to $1.90.6 a litre in the eastern mainland and Port Hawkesbury. For the rest of Cape Breton it will cost from $1.89.1 to $1.91.3.

The price of gasoline is unchanged.
