The price of diesel has risen dramatically for the third time this week.
The Utility and Review Board invoked the Interrupter Clause overnight to increase diesel by 13.7 cents a litre in the eastern mainland and 13.8 cents on Cape Breton.
The minimum price for a litre of diesel is now $2.27.7 in the eastern mainland and $2.28.6 on Cape Breton.
Gasoline is unchanged, leaving the minimum price for a litre of regular self unleaded at $1.66.3 in the eastern mainland and $1.67.1 on Cape Breton.
