the new cases are in Central Zone. The other two are in Northern Zone.  While the province has added eleven new cases, the number of active cases of the virus is down.  There are 119 active cases, compared to 127 on Wednesday.

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 2,047 Nova Scotia tests on Wednesday.

There are 338 rapid-tests administered from a pop-up site in Halifax and 148 tests in Wolfville; no positive tests were identified in either location.

The province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang says while the case numbers are not as high as expected, cases are being seen every day.  He urged Nova Scotians not to let their guard down and continue efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 by continuing to follow all public health measures and restrictions.

Since October first, Nova Scotia has completed 71,663 tests.  There have been 254 positive COVID-19 cases and no deaths.
