Environment Canada is monitoring a storm that’s expected to bring significant snowfall with the potential of more than 15 centimetres to the mainland, including Pictou, Antigonish and Guysborough Counties. The national weather forecaster has issued a Special Weather Statement, warning about the impending arrival of the storm to most of mainland Nova Scotia.
It is expected to arrive Thursday afternoon locally. As with most storms that pass south of Nova Scotia, a small difference in the forecast track could result in a significant change in the snowfall forecast.
