Free summer programming foryouth and families.

In partnership with the Belgian-based non-profit OffshoreWind4Kids, with support from the RBC Foundation and the Department of Natural Resources and Energy, COVE is hosting free interactive showcases at beach locations across Atlantic Canada this summer.

During these one-hour sessions, participants will:
-Build and test their own models of real-world offshore wind turbines in the water
-Learn about offshore wind and renewable energy
-Explore careers in the ocean and renewable energy sectors

The activity is open to ages 6+ and is especially recommended for ages 8–13. Parents or guardians must remain with their children, and COVE staff and volunteers will guide participants throughout the activity.
