Pictou County’s 98th annual feast of St. Andrew is set for next week.
The event, hosted by the St. Andrew’s Society, is taking place November 29, at Summer Street Industries. The celebration of all things Scottish will include music, haggis with neeps and tatties, a roast turkey dinner, the society’s Scot of the year presentation, and more.
Society president Barrie MacMillan said people can expect fun and fellowship at the event. He said they are also hoping for some representations from the Antigonish and area highland society.
Today is the last day to get tickets at the UPS store on Archimedes Street until 5:30 p.m. People can also contact barrie.macmillan@ns.sympatico.ca for tickets.
