The final candidates list is in for the upcoming elections for Chief and Council in the Potlotek First Nation. Nominated candidates from a meeting on Monday had until Friday evening to submit a form and pay a fee to the electoral officer to be on the ballot.
There are five people vying for Chief; incumbent Wilbert Marshall, Kenny Basque, Wayne Johnson, Noelle Julian and Tahirih Paul.
There are 31 candidates seeking the eight council seats, including seven current councillors.
The Chief and council elections are on August 11th. An advance poll will be held August 6th.
