A former Antigonish resident was recently voted in as mayor of a municipality in Alberta.
Sandy Bowman is the unofficial mayor elect for the Regional municipality of Wood Buffalo. A Fort McMurray businessman, Bowman earned 5,690 votes in Monday’s election. It’s Bowman’s first time in office.
