Frank Nelson Appointed as New CEO of the County of Inverness Municipal Housing Corporation

The County of Inverness Municipal Housing Corporation has a new Chief Executive Officer. Frank Nelson has been appointed to the role, succeeding Stephen Doiron who has served as the inaugural CEO since September, 2022.

Nelson, a resident of South Lake Ainslie, has 30 years of senior leadership experience with 17 of those as a nursing home administrator in large long-term care organizations and more than 10 years directing a non-for-profit healthcare organization that provided medical insurance counselling client advocate services to older adultss and persons with disabilities.

Nelson officially assumes his duties today, beginning a transition process with the current CEO.

The Housing Corporation oversees the operation of two long-term care homes and two small options homes in Inverness County.
