It’s a chance to wear a plaid shirt, scarf, socks or your kilt for a worthy cause. Friday is Plaid for Dad Day, an event that began as a fun twist on casual Fridays in support of prostate cancer research. It’s held annually on the last Friday before Father’s Day.
Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic Executive Director Ellen Townshend says getting involved is easy, and there’s still time.
Several local businesses in Northeastern Nova Scotia have signed up for Plaid for Dad this year.
