Motorists are getting some relief at the pump.
The Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked the Interrupter Clause overnight to drop both gasoline and diesel prices.
Gas has plunged by 10.4 cents a litre. The price for a litre of regular self-serve unleaded ranges from $1.81.3 to $1.84.3 in the eastern mainland and Port Hawkesbury. For the remainder of Cape Breton, it’s $1.82.1 to $1.85.1.
The price is diesel has fallen by 9.4 cents a litre. The price for a litre of diesel is from $2.31 to $2.34 in the eastern mainland and Port Hawkesbury. For the rest of Cape Breton, it’s $2.31.8 to $2.34.7
