There’s going to be a new spot to fill up in the town of Pictou this spring. At last night’s 
committee of council meeting, Mayor Jim Ryan announced that one of the lots on the new roundabout will soon feature a combination McDonald’s and Ultramar filling station/convenience store. Ryan says that’s just one of several projects in the works in that area.
The opening day for the new fast food and gas station combo is projected to be in May 2020.
