Council is looking to make improvements to the parking lot for its municipal office.
Last night, council approved a $94,000 tender from Allan MacNeil Construction for the expansion and refurbishing on the parking lot. Warden Owen McCarron explained the current parking lot is in need of repair, noting it is also a little small.
McCarron said the municipal office gets used a fair amount on a variety of fronts so an expansion makes sense.
