Gasoline and Diesel Prices Fall

After weeks of increases, some relief at the pump this week. The Utility and Review Board set its weekly petroleum prices overnight. Gasoline prices fell 3.7 cents a litre on the eastern mainland and 3.6 cents on Cape Breton. Last week, gasoline jumped by 3.9 cents. The minimum price for a litre of regular self serve unleaded is now $1.31.1 in the eastern mainland and $1.32 in Cape Breton.

Diesel also dropped, but not as much, by 1.2 cents a litre. The minimum price of diesel is now $1.25 in the eastern mainland and $1.25.8 on Cape Breton.
