After weeks of increases, some relief at the pump this week. The Utility and Review Board set its
weekly petroleum prices overnight. Gasoline prices fell 3.7 cents a litre on the eastern mainland and 3.6 cents on Cape Breton. Last week, gasoline jumped by 3.9 cents. The minimum price for a litre of regular self serve unleaded is now $1.31.1 in the eastern mainland and $1.32 in Cape Breton.
Diesel also dropped, but not as much, by 1.2 cents a litre. The minimum price of diesel is now $1.25 in the eastern mainland and $1.25.8 on Cape Breton.
