Gasoline Drops 4.6 Cents a Litre, Diesel Tumbles 17.4 Cents

Motorists will be playing less at the pump.  The Utility and Review Board set the weekly petroleum prices overnight.

Gasoline dropped 4.6 cents a litre.  The minimum price for a litre for regular self serve unleaded is $2.04.6 in the eastern mainland and $2.05.4 on Cape Breton.

The price of diesel fell 17.4 cents a litre.  The minimum price for a litre of diesel is $1.96.1 in the eastern mainland and $1.96.9 on Cape Breton.

Over the past week, diesel has plunged 50.9cents a litre.
