Gasoline rises by 11.2 cents a litre, Diesel Falls 5.6 Cents

Gasoline and diesel prices are headed in opposite directions. The Utility and Review Board set its weekly petroleum prices overnight.

Gasoline jumped by 11.2 cents a litre. The minimum price for a litre of regular self serve unleaded is now $1.92.1 in the eastern mainland. On Cape Breton, it’s $1.92.9

The price of diesel is down, falling 5.6 cents a litre. The minimum price for a litre of diesel is now $2.42.5 in the eastern mainland. On Cape Breton it’s $2.43.3 in the eastern mainland. Diesel has fallen 12 cents this week. The UARB invoked the Interrupter Clause on Wednesday to drop diesel by 6.4 cents a litre
