A release from the Riverside International Speedway states the parent organizing committee for the Dr. JH Gillis Regional High School grad ceremony has decided to hold a ceremony at the speedway on June 26. The site states the event has the full support of the Town of Antigonish and the Municipality of the County of Antigonish.
The event will include the grad ceremony and a grad march for students in caps and gowns while maintaining physical distancing. Attendance is invitation only and limited to grads, select family members, and a limited number of community representatives. Organizers will have public health protocols in place as required by authorities and will be in touch with the families of grads in the coming days with full details.
