As we are one year into the latest provincial government’s mandate, Guysborough-Tracadie MLA Greg Morrow said 2025 was about delivering on the commitments made in the 2024 election.

As for what’s on the horizon, Morrow noted the number of approvals for large scale projects in Guysborough-Tracadie. He said he is focussed on looking forward into 2026, pointing to things like a new gold mine in Goldboro, a new wind farm as part of Everwind, a windmill project in Auld’s Cove, and the recent successful launch by Maritime Launch Services.
Morrow said there is a lot happening in Guysborough-Tracadie, adding it’s exciting.
