A Halifax-based film festival is expanding to several communities in the province this year, including Antigonish . The Bluenose-Ability Film Festival will bring a series of short films focusing on disability to the Community Room of Peoples Place Library in Antigonish. The event will held Friday, November 23rd from 4:30 to 6:30.
Spokesperson Jessica Ward says the Bluenose Festival is a first of its kind.
Ward says one of the reasons Antigonish was included in the tour is because of its hosting of an annual international film festival. The Bluenose-Ability Film Festival will be held in Halifax from November 29th to December 3rd. More information on the festival can be found at baff.ca
