X-Women Hockey defense Lauren Dabrowski is the STFX Female Athlete of the Week.

Dabrowski, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Tiny, Ont. had four points in two games this weekend. In STFX’s close 3-2 loss at SMU on Friday, Lauren had one assist, then followed up with a goal and two assists Sunday in the X-Women’s 9-2 win over Moncton. She also earned third star honours. Dabrowski is currently second overall in both AUS and U SPORTS scoring with 31 points on the season to date, including 13 goals and 18 assists.
X-Men Hockey forward Liam Hawel is the STFX Male

Athlete of the Week. Hawel, a second year Business student from Arnprior, Ont. had four points in two weekend wins. In Saturday’s 7-4 win over DAL, Liam had a hat trick and was named player of the game for his three-goal performance. In Sunday’s 3-2 overtime win over UPEI, he assisted on the X-Men’s game tying goal. Hawel currently leads the conference and is second overall in U SPORTS scoring with 35 points on the season, including 16 goals and 19 assists.
