Municipality of the District of Guysborough District 7 Councillor Hudson MacLeod announced he will re-offer in the the upcoming municipal election. In a release, MacLeod stated the district District # 7 has changed some this year, with it now including Seal Harbour, Cross Roads, and Country Harbour.
A lifelong resident of Country Harbour, MacLeod stated his list of priorities includes economic development, decreasing the tax rate by at least 10 cents, community grants, tax rebates, and new recreation equipment for area’s outside the Shiretown.
