Inverness County Council has given second and final reading to a Tourism Marketing Bylaw. The
three per cent levy will be applied accommodations in the county, including hotels and Airbnb’s.
Port Hawkesbury Town Council approved a similar bylaw earlier this week.
Money raised from levy will be used to market Cape Breton Island.
