Two years ago, following the passing of Frances, he reached out to the Aberdeen Foundation for ideas on how to honor while also help others at the hospital. They decided to renew the fifth-floor sun-room, used by families and patients. With Darrell’s support, the lounge received a full refresh, with new furnishings, updated decor and a plaque honouring Frances.

Michelle Ferris, Executive Director of the Aberdeen Health Foundation, says Rushton’s generosity shows the heart of community giving.
