Antigonish Town Council voted to extend its low income property tax exemption. Mayor Laurie Boucher says the new deadline for the exemption is July 16.
Residents with an annual household income of $25,000 or less are eligible to apply. Homeowners must provide a copy of their 2020 Notice of Assessment with their application. The total tax exemption will be up to $400 off the current tax bill.
