Marco MacLeod is now officially the MLA for Pictou West.
MacLeod took the oath of office in a swearing in ceremony held in Halifax Wednesday.

MacLeod won a by-election held last month in the riding. The PC candidate won handily, taking 72 per cent of all ballots cast.
The by-election was called following the retirement of PC incumbent Karla MacFarlane
