says their monthly payments are being reduced. Fraser says this is a result of a policy change to stop charging interest on student loans.
Fraser says young people have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, job prospects have been hampered and debt loans have increased.
Emails informing federal student loan recipients of the change started going out this week.
