More New Glasgow town employees will be switching to a four day work week.

After a pilot project involving town hall staff, council voted to extend the four day week to several other employee groups, both union and non-union. CAO Lisa MacDonald noted that for operational reasons, some employees will remain on the five day per week work schedule – for example, water treatment & environmental services.
