In October 2020 the Town of Mulgrave began the search for a new CAO. The current CAO Darlene Berthier Sampson has fulfilled her contractual obligations and is leaving the position for personal reasons. An offer of employment was made to a candidate who fulfilled the job requirements, but that individual has yet to accept the position and has asked that the start date be pushed back from January until the first week of February.
Berthier Sampson said the town expected an answer to the offer this week. No other potential candidates have been identified for the CAO position
