At the regular council in the Town of Mulgrave, an amendment to the current dog bylaw was
discussed which would require the owner of a dog which is deemed fierce and dangerous, keep the dog under control by means of a harness or leash and ensure the dog is muzzled at all times when outside the home, including when outside on their own premises.
Changing the bylaw will require first reading and second reading and approval by the provincial minister responsible.
