Officials with the Municipality of Antigonish County are asking its residents to begin thinking of ways to reduce water consumption
In a social media post, the municipal unit says with the recent warm weather and the lack of significant rainfall, water levels are decreasing. They suggest several measures that will help preserve its water supply and for residents who rely on wells.
That includes checking your toilet for leaks and flush only when necessary, take shorter showers, turn off the tap when brushing your teeth, and collect rain water for use in your garden.
