Nancy Dicks Re-elected New Glasgow Mayor

The election results are in for the Town of New Glasgow.

In the mayoral race, incumbent Nancy Dicks received 3,328 votes for the win, defeating Mark

Firth, who received 304 votes.

In the councillor race in Ward 1, Russell Borden Junior, with 443 votes, and Jocelyn Dorrington, with 657, earned seats. Also in the running was Elizabeth Paris, with 314. In Ward 2, Clyde Fraser, with 447, and Dawn Peters, with 602, were the winners. Also in the running were Mike MacInnis, with 204, Tammy MacLaren, with 425, Bill Muirhead, with 101, and Jessie Parkinson, with 362.

In Ward 3, Fred El Haddad, with 1,021, and Joe MacDonald, with 939, were the winners. Also in the running were Elizabeth Daley, with 800, and Mike Slowik, with 160.
