The town of New Glasgow is putting together a pilot project for traffic calming in town. Council passed the creation of a pilot project to place two to three traffic humps in town limits to slow down drivers.
The humps have a gentler slope than a speed bump, and will be more easily removable. Public Works, in conjunction with Traffic Services, will determine the most effective areas to place these traffic humps, beginning in the 2026/27 fiscal year
