With the Aberdeen Health Foundation celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks spoke about the importance of the foundation to the area.

Dicks said there is a lot to be proud of with the hospital and foundation.
Michelle Ferris, executive director for the Aberdeen Health Foundation, wanted to pull out some of the stories from over the years; the people and moments that helped shape the foundation into what it is today. They plan to release a story approximately every 10 days or so on social media. Other celebrations might come along during the year.
