New Glasgow Police have arrested three youths in connection with a recent fire at the Pioneer Foot Trail.

The fire, around 1:30 am on May 6th caused extensive damage to the walking surface of the bridge. The bridge has been closed to pedestrian traffic since then while officials conduct damage assessments.
The three youths have been charged with Arson and Damage to Property. The three have been released from custody and will appear in Youth Provincial Court at a later date.
