New Glasgow Regional Police have safely resolved an incident at a Merigomish Road home. 
Police say officers went to the home for a report of a well-being check at 11 this morning. After a brief interaction with the police, a man was apprehended by police 12:45 without further incident. He was detained under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act. Several firearms were seized from the home.
