New Glasgow Regional Police were kept busy Tuesday, responding to two motor vehicle collisions; one in the town and the other in Trenton.
The first crash occurred at 9:25 Tuesday morning when a Hyundai Accent collided with a Honda Civic at the intersection of North Main Street and Trenton Connector in Trenton. The 68-year-old female driver of the Honda sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Hyundai Accent, a 20-year-old male, has been charged with failing to yield the right of way. Both cars were extensively damaged and towed from the scene.
The second crash occurred at 1:23 Tuesday afternoon. when a Hyundai Accent collided with a Ford Fusion on Stellarton Road near the George Street intersection in New Glasgow. No one was hurt and damage was minor to both vehicles. Police continue to investigate.
