New Glasgow Regional Police have charged an 18-year-old Pictou County man with Stunting after police clocked a car at 136 kilometres an hour in an 80 kilometre zone. That’s 56 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit.
Police spotted a car travelling at a high rate of speed at around 11:30 Saturday night while on routine patrol on the Trenton Connector Road in Trenton. An officer stopped the car and charged a man with Stunting.
The fine for Stunting is $2,422.50. There’s also an immediate seven day roadside license suspension.
