New Glasgow will no longer be adding fluoride to its drinking water.
Council voted to approve the recommendation from the assistant Director of Engineering & Public Works, following a report showing that fluoridation was no longer needed, as fluoride is added to many food stuffs and other sources.
New Glasgow was the last of the towns in Pictou County that added fluoride to its water supply.
