No Changes in Property Tax Rates for residents in the Municipality of Pictou County

No changes in the property tax rates for Pictou County residents.   

Council passed their tax rates – including area rates, fire service  rates  and rates for the East River Business Park, which the County co-owns with New Glasgow – for the fiscal year that began April 1st and ends March 31st  2027.

Residential and resource properties in Pictou County remain at 81.5 cents per $100 assessed, and commercial is $1.825 per $100 assessment.
