No New Cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, Three Active Cases of the Virus

For the fifth day in a row, there are no new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia. That leaves the total number of cases to date in the province at 1,061. There are three active cases of the virus. Two of those are in hospital, one in Intensive Care. There are 996 Nova Scotians who have recovered from COVID-19; 62 have died. There are no licensed long-term care homes with active cases of COVID-19.

Licensed childcare centres and family daycare homes can reopen on Monday. Childcare centres will begin opening at 50 per cent capacity and can move up to 100 per cent if they are able to meet public health’s COVID-19 guidelines. Family daycare homes will be open at full capacity.
