The Nova Scotia 55-Plus games, being hosted this week in Pictou County is getting a boost from
the federal government.
Central Nova MP Sean Fraser says the games has received a community grant of $17,000 from the New Horizons Seniors Program.
The games began on Wednesday and they conclude on Saturday. Events over the course of the games include hockey, bowling, pickleball, mountain biking, curling, golf, and washertoss.
