Inverness County District RCMP say one man is dead from an ATV crash on a trail in Southwest Mabou.
Police says officers and EHS were alerted of the of the collision around 10:20 Sunday evening. Investigators learned that an ATV had been travelling north on the trail when the ATV left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver and sole rider of the ATV, a 60-year-old Rankinville man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. He died later in the hospital.
RCMP are continuing their investigation into the crash.
