Inverness County District RCMP say one man is in hospital following an ATV crash on Reservation Road in We’koqma’q.
The collision occurred at around 11:30 Wednesday evening; police, EHS and fire officials responded. RCMP officers learned the ATV had been travelling on Reservation Road, when it left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver and sole rider of the ATV, a 62-year-old We’koqma’q man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The man was then transported to hospital in Halifax by LifeFlight.
The investigation is continuing into the crash
