One person is dead from a single vehicle motorcycle crash in Inverness County..
On Friday, July 17, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Inverness County District RCMP, fire services and EHS responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 105. Officers learned that a westbound motorcycle lost control and crashed in the eastbound lane.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 54-year-old man from Port Dover, Ontario, was transported to hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger on the motorcycle, a 61-year-old woman from Port Dover, Ontario, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed Highway 105 for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist investigated the crash.
