Pictou County Council awarded a pair of tenders during their regular meeting on Monday night.

Neptune had the winning bid of $422,961 (HST included) for water meter upgrades for the water utility, while Samson had their their tender awarded of approximately $134,000 for a mobile generator to be used at sewer or water lift stations during extended power outages.
