Pictou County council will guarantee a loan to the Pictou Landing Fire Department. The $60,000
loan is being taken out by the Department for needed repairs to the Fire Hall.
The Municipal Government Act allows a municipality to guarantee loans to a registered fire department for operating or capital purposes.
